As previously reported, ex-Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert was recently arrested on charges of attempted second degree murder and first degree assault. Now, The Baltimore Banner are reporting that the arrest was related to an incident in which he ran his car into William Yates, the father of Turnstile singer Brendan Yates. Police said Ebert was caught on surveillance footage at Yates’ home, honking and shouting obscenities. He then struck William in the driveway. William, who suffered trauma to his legs, claims Ebert later returned, saying he “deserved it.” He also confirmed that Ebert has continued to cause issues following his firing from Turnstile. The guitarist will have a bail review hearing later today (April 2).
