Sun Dont Shine Premiere New Song “Power To Live”

Sun Dont Shine, the project featuring Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), and Todd Strange (ex-Crowbar), have premiered a new song titled “Power To Live.” This track is from their new album, “From Birth To Death,” which will be released on April 1.

The following was said about the song:

”Power To Live‘ grew out of a conversation around the single’s striking cover art, when Hickey remarked how shameful it is that, as human beings, we still haven’t evolved beyond killing one another. That observation became the song’s core: a stark acknowledgment of history’s repeated failures, paired with a refusal to surrender to them.”

The band continued:

“The track is a challenge to the times we’re living in, an insistence on survival and consciousness in the face of cycles that refuse to break.”

The single was also accompanied by a limited edition art collaboration with Nadiya Vizier. The following was added about that collection:

“The collection includes 100 hand-signed posters autographed by Vizier, a custom sticker sheet, and 10 ultra-limited trucker caps featuring original artwork from the release. Each piece was created specifically for “Power to Live,” blending the song’s urgency and message with Vizier’s unmistakable visual language. All items are extremely limited and tied directly to the “Power to Live” streaming release—once they’re gone, they’re gone.”
