During a recent interview with Metal Hammer, Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas offered an update on the band’s new horror film “The Slashin’ Of The Christ.” According to him, the script has already been completed and the group are currently in discussions with film studios and directors.
Charnas said the following about the film:
“Like everything we do, there’s horror, there’s violence, but there’s a wink to the camera. We’re not taking ourselves too seriously, and I think the world needs a movie like this.”
He continued when asked if it’ll offend Christians:
“I think that it might be like ‘The Exorcist,’ which was touted by the Catholic Church because it showed on-screen what they’ve been talking about.”
He also added the following when asked if the movie will feature some familiar faces:
“I certainly hope so. And who’s to say who will live and who will die?”
