Wielded Steel have signed a new deal with 1126 Records. With this news, the band have also shared a new video for their new song “Your Words Mean Nothing.” Vocalist Jesse Clark said the following about the single:
“‘Your Words Mean Nothing‘ is a song about the empty promises of prosperity that are slung around by the ruling class, to try and keep poor people docile and accepting. How they attempt to use identity politics to pit people against each other and keep them distracted and angry. It’s also about how those politicians, and billionaire CEOs, that engineer and profit off of the suffering of the working class are just people. People that can be made to face consequences. There are more of us than there are of them.”
