During a recent episode of Reigning TV, Slayer guitarist Kerry King and Death Angel vocalist Mark Osegueda were asked to choose between Metallica and Megadeth. Both artists ultimately chose Metallica, before King added:
“I’m gonna be brutally honest. Metallica has a singer. Sorry Dave.”
King also made similar comments after they chose James Hetfield over Dave Mustaine:
“James Hetfield. Sorry Dave, I know played in your band, but, I’m going with James.”
