Modern Life Is War have premiered a new song titled “Jackie Oh No.” This track is from the band’s new album “Life On The Moon,” which will be released on September 5. Vocalist Jeff Eaton said the following about the single:
“The instrumental was delivered to me and appeared as a ballad covered in cobwebs and I tried to write it and sing it just the same, as if I lacked no experience in that realm and as if it is exactly what everyone wanted from me. ‘Jackie Oh No‘ is a song about an obsessive love that is as dangerous as it is powerful. Assassination folklore from the badlands to the boundary waters to the book repository, an anthem for those who have gone too far and know it and those willing to pay the price with their very lives.”
