The group commented:

“Meadows is honored to announce the release of our live record, For a Good & Faithful Servant, a deeply personal project dedicated to our former bassist and late friend, Brandon Dabbs.

This release is a collection of both older songs from before our time with Facedown Records and newer tracks that have since found a home through the label. All songs were recorded live at Workplay in Birmingham by Josh Ford. What was originally intended to be a live show turned into something far more intimate and meaningful. A snowstorm swept through Alabama and canceled the performance—but instead of standing still, we chose to press record in an empty room.

That unexpected stillness gave us time to reflect, grieve, and celebrate Brandon. It was our first time playing many of these songs without him, and the experience became something sacred. We played not for a crowd, but for his memory—for a good and faithful servant.

We are incredibly grateful to Facedown Records for embracing and promoting this release. Their support has helped bring this tribute to life, and it’s our hope that it encourages and uplifts others the way it has uplifted us.

‘For a Good & Faithful Servant‘ is available now on all major streaming platforms and through Facedown Records.

With heavy hearts and enduring gratitude,
— Meadows“
