Matthew Jackson Exits Post Profit

Vocalist Matthew Jackson has exited Post Profit. As a result, the band’s upcoming live shows have been cancelled.

The band commented:

“We’re saddened to announce that Matthew Jackson has decided to step away from Post Profit. We fully support his decision and wish him the best moving forward.

Unfortunately, this means we must cancel our upcoming European tour with Wayside. We’re incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans overseas, and we’re grateful for your understanding during this time. Wayside will still be doing the tour, and will be announcing a replacement for Post Profit soon.

Thank you for your continued support through this challenging time — we’ll be back soon.

Jackson also issued a statement:

“To my incredible fans,

After much thought and reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to part ways as a lead member of Post Profit. This was not an easy choice, but as a group, we all agreed that this was the best path forward. Over time, creative differences and personal challenges have taken a toll on my peace, and I’ve realized that I’ve let things slide for far too long.

I made peace with the fact that I can’t control everything, but I can control how I respond. Life is unpredictable. People change. Plans fall apart. Things don’t always go as expected. And for the longest time, that scared me, putting me in a place where I was setting myself on fire to keep others warm.

This is not the end of an era—it’s the beginning of a new journey for me. I will always be grateful for the experiences, memories, and growth I’ve had as part of this band. I deeply appreciate my time with Post profit and sincerely wish my bandmates nothing but success in their future endeavors.

Most importantly, I want to thank all of you—my fans—for your unwavering love and support. You’ve been with me every step of the way, and I can’t wait to show you what I have in store as I step into this new chapter and embark on my solo journey. I’m following a path that brings me full peace, and I hope you’ll join me on this ride.

With love and gratitude,
Matt Jackson“
