Dark Angel To Debut “A Couple Of New Songs” During Upcoming South American Shows

During an interview with PowerOfMetal.cl, Dark Angel’s Gene Hoglan discussed the band’s plans for new music. He also confirmed that the group will be “debuting a couple of new songs” during their upcoming South American shows.

Hoglan said the following:

“Well, we are going to be debuting a couple of new songs, some new material, at these upcoming couple of South American shows that we have. I know we are playing Buenos Aires [in Argentina on March 21], and that’s two nights before the Metal Beer [Open Air] fest [in Chile on March 23]. So, at both of those shows we are debuting some new material, and we’re really excited to be able to play some new stuff after all this time. And hey, man, hopefully that’s gonna lead to a whole bunch more stuff. And we’re very excited to be unleashing some new material on the metal world.”

He also added the following about the possibility of a 2025 release for the band’s new album:

“Boy, you never know. We’re working and trying to make things happen. And so hopefully at some point — I’ve said this many times in the past — hopefully at some point we’ll be able to give some kind of exciting update on progress of anything. And so hopefully we’ll be able to do that somewhere in the near future. And everybody, keep your eyes peeled to DARK ANGEL. We’ll see what happens.”
