During their March 9 set at Tool’s “Live In The Sand” festival, Umphrey’s McGee were joined onstage by Tool drummer Danny Carey for a cover of King Crimson’s “Red.” You can see fan-filmed footage of that below. Notably, Carey plays King Crimson material alongside Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, and Steve Vai as part of Beat.
