Tool have been facing backlash following their headlining sets at the “Tool Live In The Sand” festival in the Dominican Republic. The performances were initially described as “two unique headlining sets,” but the band ended up repeating several songs. As such, there is now a possibility that the group may be hit with a class action lawsuit.

Here’s the setlists in question:
March 7:
01. “Stinkfist”
02. “Fear Inoculum”
03. “Rosetta Stoned”
04. “Pneuma”
05. “Jambi”
06. “Schism”
07. “The Grudge”
08. “The Flood”
09. “Invincible”
10. “Vicarious”
March 8:
01. “Fear Inoculum”
02. “Ænema”
03. “Rosetta Stoned”
04. “Pneuma”
05. “Jambi”
06. “Descending”
07. “Chocolate Chip Trip”
08. “Intolerance”
10. “Swamp Song”
The fact that a number of tracks were played twice did not sit well with fans, who paid a hefty price for the experience. Some even booed the group. The controversy has also inspired a lawyer to make a Facebook post regarding a potential class action lawsuit. You can see a screenshot of that below, along with posts showcasing fans’ anger.
