Ahren Stringer has revealed that he is taking legal action against The Amity Affliction following his recent departure. You can see a screenshot of a document shared by Stringer below. The band previously said the bassist/vocalist was taking a break in May 2024 to focus on his mental health and addiction issues. However, he later claimed he was “booted from the tour with no warning whatsoever.” Following that incident, Stringer issued a new statement saying he had achieved sobriety. He also revealed that he would be “taking some much needed annual leave from the band throughout 2025.” Despite plans for an eventual return, the band confirmed that Stringer was no longer a member of the group. He then responded by saying he was “kicked out.”
