As previously reported, artist Chris Gallien recently blasted Oceano for allegedly stealing his design for their final tour admat. Now, vocalist Adam Warren has officially responded to Gallien directly, while seemingly offering him $100.

The following was said in screencaps shared by the artist:

Gallien: “I’m a bit lost for words and don’t know what to say right now. But I’m pretty bummed to see this. Looks an awful lot like the flier I provided you, but was told didn’t make the cut. Aside from some texturing and color grading, it’s basically the same flier. My wife came into my office to congratulate me thinking it was mine. ‘I thought you said your flier didn’t make it’.”

Warren: “Did you hand draw yours?

And what do you want to make you feel better for me keeping the artist direction?”

Gallien: “That’s not hand drawn either. That’s textured with some cross hatching.

Dude. Idk. But that stings quite a bit.”

Warren: “Well it looks better

But what do you want

This isn’t personal. So plz let’s solve it and move forward

Lmk what you want for it to not sting as I did not expect this. It’s a similar layout yes.”

Gallien: “Idk yet. I guess we’ll have to talk about it this later. The privilege of having my work being used for the tour would have put me over the top.”

Warren: “I didn’t like it though

No offense that’s my artistic honesty

I have sent you 100 dollars that’s 50 less than I paid for all the finals and social media edits and changes for the one in use. Typically do not do that. But given we will be working together further I hope this shows my intentions are not to hurt feelings but to utilize the best visuals for my vision bar none”

Gallien: “Thanks for that. We’ll have to have a meeting soon.”

Warren: “I do think that’s beyond generous too given the difference in what I got. But if it’s a meeting for anything regarding this I am moving forward with work. Otherwise I’ll be in touch”

Warren also commented on Gallien’s initial post:

“#1 who sat with you and helped you the ideas and direction for this flyer on discord.”

“Next let’s run receipts since you’re gonna be this unprofessional”

“What you did was alongside My Ideas and you’re not telling the whole story so you can “get back at me” and you’re pandering to your audience without telling the full story. Which is disappointing”
