Eleine have parted ways with bassist Filip Stålberg and drummer Jesper Sunnhagen. The band made the move after the musicians were “acting inappropriately towards fans.”
Founders Madeleine Liljestam and Rikard Ekberg issued the following statement:
“Dear Eleine Legions,
Unfortunately we must share that our drummer Jesper Sunnhagen, and our bass player Filip Stålberg, will have to leave the band.
They have broken one of the most important parts of our band member contract by acting inappropriately towards our fans.
Their departure will be immediate and will NOT affect our upcoming tours.
There will be replacement musicians to stand in during the upcoming shows.
Thank you for understanding that we put our fans first.
