Ahren Stringer Seemingly Confirms Departure From The Amity Affliction

It looks like Ahren Stringer has officially exited The Amity Affliction. The band have yet to address the situation, but the singer seemingly confirmed the news while responding to a fan in the comment section of a recent Instagram post.

Stringer said the following while promoting some signed and numbered prints he was selling:

“Heartbreak, misery and NWMG reaper up for sale now. All prints hand numbered and signed by yours truly. Once again these will be the last Amity paintings I’ll ever make so get em while they’re hot. All ready to go this time! F*ck Christmas Happy new year everyone 🥰 ahrenstringerprint@bigcartel.com”

That caption then led to the following exchange:

Fan: “Are you leaving Amity? :(”

Stringer: “Wasn’t my choice”

This news comes after the band previously said Stringer was taking a break from the group to address his mental health and addiction issues. However, he later claimed he was “booted from the tour with no warning whatsoever.”

Following that incident, Stringer issued a new statement saying he had achieved sobriety. He also revealed that he would be “taking some much needed annual leave from the band throughout 2025.”
