Sepultura’s 2003 Show At Chile’s Instituto Nacional To Be Explored In New Documentary

Álvaro Cariqueo has announced a new documentary titled “Labor Omnia Vincit.” The film will focus on Sepultura’s 2003 show at Instituto Nacional in Chile.

The following was said about the film:

“In 2003, the courtyard of the Instituto Nacional, one of the most emblematic schools in Chile, became the setting for a historic moment: a show by the iconic Brazilian band Sepultura, organized by students.

This documentary, directed by Álvaro Cariqueo of Ilufilms, relives that unforgettable event through never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews with the students who made it possible, the fans who experienced the show, and the members of Sepultura themselves.

After 10 years away from the cinema, Álvaro returns with his most ambitious project. From the rediscovery of forgotten tapes by Ignacio Onell, the “boy genius” who made this event a reality, to an interview with Andreas Kisser and the band during their farewell tour in Ireland, this documentary promises to thrill fans of music and history.

Currently in post-production, “Labor Omnia Vincit” plans to premiere at film festivals around the world in 2025.”
