Vocalist Connie Sgarbossa has taken to social media to share more comments following her apparent departure from SeeYouSpaceCowboy. According to her, “when push comes to shove, the guillotine comes from all of us.”

As previously reported, Sgarbossa seemingly exited the group after threatening to leave in response to an upcoming tour with Dance Gavin Dance. The band received backlash for accepting that trek due to the divisive manner in which Dance Gavin Dance handled past sexual assault allegations against their former singer Tilian Pearson, who was allowed to return in November 2022 before making an official exit in April 2024.

To make matters worse, Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke also blasted Sgarbossa for her stance. Shortly after that rant, she issued a short statement:

“I appreciate everyone reaching out. SYSC meant the world to me too. I haven’t fully processed what’s going on but I am alive as of now.”

She then followed up with a series of other posts:

“Destined to be a statistic. The crazy trans person who couldn’t put herself back together.”

“I can’t tell if this is suppose to be a redemption story of a downfall, curtain call and all. Mid plot, or then end?”

“I am not sure if [sic] anything anymore”

“I fought against so much to be a someone amongst everything. Something to show you can do something more despite mental illness, despite being trans and trying to exist as just normal people, as someone who carries so much trauma, and in the end it all goes up in flames.”

“But in the end, when push comes to shove, the guillotine comes from all of us.”
