Oceano’s Adam Warren Responds To Backlash Over Attila And Dealer Tour

Oceano have been facing backlash after accepting a tour with Attila, Dealer, and Nathan James. The controversy stems from mental abuse and sexual misconduct allegations against Dealer vocalist Aidan Ellaz Holmes (ex-Alpha Wolf) and sexual misconduct allegations against Attila frontman Chris Fronzak and rape allegations against former drummer Bryan McClure. Oceano vocalist Adam Warren has since responded to the backlash, while also defending the band’s decision to take part in the tour.

Warren had the following exchange with ds/fp records:

ds/fp records: “@AdamOnEarth_ is that you have a massive platform in a booming deathcore world that could be taking any of the multiple hundreds of artists on successful tours and make a massive bag but y’all signed onto a tour where people need to cover their drinks and watch out.”

Warren: “The best thing is someone with my standards IS on ANY tour these days. No one no matter their social status should be trusted. A man should be judged by their character and how they treat others. If anything bad is going on, with my platform, you’ll be the first to know about it. I don’t keep up with internet stuff like that these days. Just know Im pretty busy with family and work.

P.S when you speak of opportunity, ask every merch designer, every band from our headline tour, the local bands we play with, every past band member since I joined, every tour crew member; ask them who have them those opportunities…and then ask yourself How many Job opportunities does YOUR business offer in a month? Hope to see you at a show!”

ds/fp records: “man what the hell kind of dismissive response is this. Not keeping up with internet stuff is a crazy thing to say when you sign on a tour package w members who have legal cases. If you checked your messages you would have seen the multiple free services I’ve offered you for years”

Warren: “What’s dismissive about it? I don’t represent any other person. I will ALWAYS while on tour not stand for anything bad happening to anyone. Though I am not focused on anyone’s life but my own, and I have my own life outside of music and the Internet stuff. So I will be on watch when it’s time for tour. I want concerts to always be a safe place. As a man of God and someone who serves others in light You have my word. Much love!”

The frontman also had another exchange with an X/Twitter user named Sevro:

Sevro: “Religious people always find a way to be dismissive about this sort of stuff lmao. Just own up to the fact that you’re fine putting aside your ethics for a buck holy shit. Super disappointing”

Warren: “How are my ethics put aside when I’m not involved in any thing you’re referring to? I think your disappointment is misguided.

Also believing in MY God is believing in self. Dont insult which you don’t understand. Religion is different.”

Notably, Holmes’ former Alpha Wolf bandmate John Arnold seemingly took a shot at the tour as well:

“HAHAHAHA

I was going to say some shit about the rapist abuser tour

But that shit tour is soooo embarrassing and pathetic it’s all speaking for itself

If you’re from the states and follow me on here. I’d like to think your genuine enough to value the women in your life and not support the cesspool tour

Anyone and everyone involved are fucking morons and will be burning so many bridges.”

Fit For A King bassist/vocalist Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary also chimed in with a humorous comment:

“I wonder if Dealer will participate in Fronz’s only fans? Might be too consensual for Aidan.”
