Buñuel (ex-Oxbow, etc.) have recruited Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, etc.) for a new song titled “American Steel.” That track is from the band’s new album “Mansuetude,” which will receive a digital release on October 25 (physical copies out November 15). Denison commented:

“Eugene Robinson‘s vocals have the effect of listening to a desperately flailing drowning man, and my guitar serves as a malfunctioning floatation device–it never quite makes it long enough to provide actual safety.”
