Ice Nine Kills have parted ways with drummer Patrick Galante. Mike Cortada will now be taking his place.

Galante said the following:
“Performing with Ice Nine Kills has been an incredible experience and I can’t thank my brothers in INK enough for their trust and faith in me throughout the past 6 years.
That being said, I have made the difficult decision to part ways with Ice Nine Kills. I’m excited to watch INK continue their success as I pursue other creative and musical projects.
I would like to thank you all for your continued support of my endeavors. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my life and career, so keep your eyes and ears open for what’s to come.”
He also added:
“This is not my departure from music. This is not my retirement from the stage. This is just the ending of a chapter, and I’m ready to explore the rest of my story. I am happy, healthy and thankful for all your support.”
Cortada commented as well:
“First day on the job and I’m shot, covered in blood, and surrounded by a sea of victims of a psychotic killer clown. Lol.
Here is a few behind-the-scenes of shots from our @iceninekills ‘A Work Of Art’ video just released! It was a lot of fun, and it took so many amazingly talented people to make it come together, and it’s so fulfilling to know it’s being enjoyed by people all over the world. 🙂
I’ll tell you, life is interesting, unexpected, and beautiful. I’ve been working literally every day with Ice Nine Kills for so many years creating the visuals and now to be working on the music side is an unexpected honor. I’ve been playing drums since I was a kid in hard-core punk bands, and if you would’ve told 12-year-old me I’d be playing a blood soaked drum set in music video at the end of the number one movie, with my best friends, I’d say u we’re out of your mind, but here we are. 🤣
Very thankful for my INK brothers for bringing me in on such a cool opportunity for my good friend Patrick for his blessing and amazing contributions over the years, the ‘Terrifier’ crew, for all the fans, actors, cast, and crew for making this video a success. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it asap. It’s absolutely disgusting, over the top, and insane. 🖤”
