Acres have premiered a new song titled “Deadweight.” This track is from the band’s new EP “What It’s Like To Feel Worthless,” which will be released on October 25. Vocalist Ben Lumber commented:
“When writing ‘Deadweight,’ we were really conscious keeping all the elements of what we’re known for but also welcoming in the new sound. It’s cathartic and anthemic. Lyrically, it’s almost like a conversation between two people expressing how they feel about each other, and coming to terms with how they feel. It’s the first time I’ve written this way. This EP is us trying new things and trying to express ourselves in a new way. We will forever try and change things up with every release but also keeping what our fans like about our band.”
