Waste have premiered a new video for their new song “Force Fed.” This track is from the band’s new EP “In Decay,” which will be released on October 25.
The group commented on the song:
“Our new track, ‘Force Fed,’ is the opener to our new In Decay EP and there is just an immediate impact that gets straight to the point. It was a no-brainer for it to also serve as the first single/video. The entire song is continuous high energy and never lets up.”
They also added the following about the EP:
“We can now finally say that this second collection of music was actually supposed to be a part of a full-length album with the collection of songs from the ‘In Bloom’ EP. However, we all collectively felt it would be best to tell this story in two parts to give proper attention to each song. We are very proud of this collection of songs, as we believe them to be some of our best work to date.
The ‘In Decay’ EP tells the story of the gruesome acceptance and harsh reality that things might not actually get better. It speaks on the never ending battle against hardships and mental illness. This even speaks on the hardships the band has experienced throughout our history. We took some risks, but we did what we felt are the true expressions and natural evolutions of our writing. We accomplished exactly what we hoped for and we’re looking forward to seeing how the community reacts to it.”
