Yesterday (August 18), Mayor Robert Restaino of Niagara Falls, NY and Mayor Austin Tylec of North Tonawanda, NY presented Gene Simmons (KISS) with the “Key To The City” of Niagara Falls. The ceremony took place in front of City Hall and it also saw the musician honored with a temporary street. That stretch, which includes a portion of Main Street between Pine and Cedar avenues, will be named “Gene Simmons Boulevard” for a limited time to acknowledge the musician’s significant investment in the local business community through a partnership with Rock Steady Sodas.
