It looks like Tool are working on new music. The news was seemingly confirmed by bassist Justin Chancellor, who recently shared a photo of two basses along with the following caption: “Vacation is over…” While he didn’t mention Tool specifically, it’s worth noting that Chancellor previously said the band were planning to work on new material “during the second half of the year.” He also later revealed that the group had “a couple of solid skeletons of songs waiting to be finalized” and that there was “more of a necessity to get something cooking a little faster.”
