According to TMZ, Puddle Of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin has been arrested once again. The frontman was recently driving a black Hummer H2 in Burbank, CA when he was stopped for a traffic violation. However, authorities soon realized that he had a warrant out for an arrest due to a previous incident in which he allegedly had a weapon in an airport. The police asked Scantlin to get out of the vehicle, but he refused. Eventually, a crisis negotiator arrived on the scene to negotiate, but they couldn’t get him to cooperate. Police then tried to use pepper spray, but when that didn’t work a SWAT team was called in. They ultimately broke the car window and shot at him with non-lethal pepper balls. When he finally got out of the car, he was taken to the hospital to get his eyes flushed and then booked into jail for the outstanding warrant and resisting arrest. A court date is scheduled for August 20.
