Oceans Of Slumber are streaming their cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game.” That track is from the band’s new album “Where Gods Fear To Speak,“ which will be released on September 13. Vocalist Cammie Beverly commented:
“I’m sure we’ll cover ‘Crying’ [by Roy Orbison] at some point down the line. But in the end, this album called for something more unexpected.”
Drummer Dobber Beverly added:
“When we were in Columbia, I heard a club remix of ‘Wicked Game’ while out at a restaurant. It was so bad that I needed to go and make things right in my head. We’ve taken the raw and heavier direction of our last two albums and elevated it to the scale of a blockbuster IMAX movie. Our cover of ‘Wicked Game’ is the song that plays over the end credits.”
