The final day of this year’s Capulet Fest has officially been cancelled. This news comes after organizers faced backlash after making a last-minute move from Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT to The Webster in Hartford, CT, which has a much lower capacity. As previously reported, that change and a number of other issues behind the scenes resulted in numerous bands pulling out of the event. Notably, LiveKill also shared a new video in which they revealed that their set was shut down after two songs. The band also claimed that security said “the dude didn’t pay the rent and made everyone leave.” Organizers commented:
“Sunday is no longer an option. We fought. We wrestled with obstacle after obstacle. We became a target. We became hated, even when we were doing our best to save something and give you the best show possible. No one sees the sacrifice. All they do is judge. We did everything we could. We hope you had fun. We did our best. Thank you to everyone who came out and had a blast. We hope you enjoyed the meet and greets. We hope you enjoyed the music. Goodbye.”
