Spotlights’ van was recently broken into while the band were in Manchester, UK. Despite the unfortunate situation, fans quickly helped the group raise over $10,000 via GoFundMe.

Spotlights said the following:
“Hi Everyone,
Never thought we would have to do this, but unfortunately our van was broken into during our show in Manchester, UK.
We’re extremely lucky that we had all of our equipment with us at the time but Chris, our sound engineer Terence, and our driver/merch Ian all had their luggage stolen. There were laptops, iPads and all their clothes and personal belongings in there.
On top of that we have to pay a hefty deductible to the rental company for insurance.
Were hoping this doesn’t interfere with any shows and we are able to continue on to finish the EU portion of this tour. Our first priority is getting clothes and toiletries for the ones who lost them.
If you are able to help, we’ll be eternally grateful. We’ll try to make it up to you by keeping this machine running as long as it can.
We love you ❤️
Mario, Sarah and Chris“
They later added:
“We are absolutely blown away by everyone’s support. We’ve reached our goal in less than 24 hours!!
Because we don’t want to take more than we require, we have disabled donations.
Although some personal things are irreplaceable due to sentimental value, we can now cover what’s necessary for everyone on our crew to continue on this tour and pay all the insurance deductibles.
We love you all and can’t thank you enough for your swift action in helping us recover.
Eternally grateful,
Mario, Sarah and Chris”
