Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) To Release “Resurrection Men” Limited Edition CD In July

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) has announced a new limited edition CD featuring “Resurrection Men” from his latest album “The Mandrake Project.” The three-song release will be available on July 26 and it will include the aforementioned track along with live versions of “Afterglow Of Ragnarok” and “Abduction” from the singer’s May 4, 2024 show in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The CD will come in a gatefold digi-sleeve and fans that pre-order it through “The Mandrake Project” store will have a chance to get limited edition double-sided “Movie Posters” (375mm x 285mm) reflecting artwork from the third comic book (out July 17) in the series based on the album. Dickinson said the following about “Resurrection Men”:

“The surf guitar at the intro — the Dick Dale bit — that’s me! We were just mucking around with the tremolo setting, we put the chords down and I went, ‘Okay, that’s kinda cool!’ It was, like, ‘What if Quentin Tarantino made a metal record?’ Then it goes somewhere different, we get a bit heavy, and we did this whole middle section and it was, like, ‘Were you just channeling Geezer Butler in another life?’ It was early [Black] Sabbath — ‘Behind The Wall Of Sleep’. Just, ‘Oh my god, that’s heavy!’”
