As previously reported, guitarist Zack Hansen recently issued a statement, saying he was “stepping away from The Word Alive to handle some personal issues.” However, it appears his departure was actually related to recent footage that allegedly shows him engaging in domestic abuse. The band said the following about that:
“To The Word Alive family: As soon as we were made aware of the situation directed towards our guitarist, Zack, we immediately asked him to step away from the band. We do not condone any domestic abuse whatsoever. -TWA”
