Frank Iero Heads Home From L.S. Dunes’ European/UK Tour Due To Family Emergency

Frank Iero (also of My Chemical Romance) has exited L.S. Dunes‘ current European/UK tour. The guitarist was unable to continue with the trek due to a family emergency.

Iero commented:

“It is with a heavy heart that I have to leave the L.S. Dunes tour today. there has been an unexpected and serious health issue within my family and i need to go home to attend to it.

Please extend all courtesy’s to my good friend and one of the most talented guitar players I know, Steven Battelle, for picking up the slack and taking over my duties on the rest of these dates.

Steven is the first person that came to mind when I found out I would have to go home and in zero amount of time he will learn all the songs and save my ass. I am forever indebted to him for shifting things around and making this work, and also to my incredible bandmates for being so understanding and supportive and for continuing on. y’all are heros.

I wish I could be there for all the dates, as i never want to ever miss a gig, but when Dunes first started we all agreed the band as a whole is more important than any one member and whenever possible we would continue on and make it work even if someone couldn’t be there in person. Until we meet again, KTF 🖤 xofrnk”
