During The Callous Daoboys’ February 6 show at the Columbia Theater in Berlin, Germany, guitarist Maddie Caffrey ended up suffering a head injury. The incident happened after she collided with Jackie Buckalew‘s bass.
Caffrey commented:
“shout out german healthcare for glueing my forehead back together for the low low price of 50€. long story short i smacked my head into Jackie’s headstock during our set tonight and bled a lot but im fine lolz”
The band added:
“Warsaw we’re very sorry to announce that, due to an unfortunate injury involving our guitarist, Maddie, we will not be able to play on 07.02.24. this is not an easy decision or one we take lightly, however due to the nature of head injuries we cannot, in good conscience, play a show. she is doing well and in good spirits now, but we’ve made a decision to monitor the situation and make sure she will be okay to continue the tour in Tampere, FI.
we love you very much and we’re gutted to have to cancel the show, but we hope you understand. we’ll make it up to you.”
