Saving Abel have issued a new statement regarding Jared Weeks’ status in the band. According to a post on the group’s Facebook page, they have parted ways with the vocalist.

The band said the following:
“Saving Abel Family,
We regret the delay in providing an update. Addressing legal matters, we want to clarify that recent developments were not impulsive.
Over the past two years, Jason and the band felt increasingly disenfranchised from the entity’s inner workings. Under NDA constraints, expressing concerns risked replacement of the member, whether due to disagreements with management or business-related issues like reimbursements.
Jason’s partnership was no longer on equal terms, with management taking over decisions, financials, and logistics. The band found themselves reduced to mere “hired guns.”
Jared verbally ended his partnership with Jason on October 4th, leading to the cancellation of the tour and the closure of all associated financial accounts.
We did take a few steps to protect ourselves, such as securing this account. Without logins and/or limited visibility in all other accounts, this is the one account we could retrieve to share our perspective.
The situation is devastating and heartbreaking, because we wanted nothing more than to make this work and go work hard! But as in 2013, the 2020’s would reflect back as a mirror image, i.e. bringing immediate family members into the mix to manage.
At this time we must part ways with Jared. We respect and wholeheartedly support him in his future endeavors.
We extend our gratitude to those who supported us through thick and thin. Our fans are also our friends, and we hope to count on your support once again.
Stay tuned for possible future engagements like live Q&A sessions to better connect with you.
Thank you”
This news comes after Weeks recently claimed that he was still a member of the band, while also accusing guitarist Jason Null of hijacking the Saving Abel Facebook page.
