According to KRCR, Theobald “Theo” Lengyel (ex-Mr. Bungle) has been arrested in Capitola, CA in connection to the murder of his girlfriend Alice “Alyx” Kamakaokalani Herrmann. Herrmann was previously reported missing and had not been seen since December 3, 2023. The El Cerrito Police Department launched an investigation into her disappearance on December 12 and found human remains at Tilden Regional Park in Berkeley, CA. Identification of the remains is still awaiting DNA confirmation from the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office. Notably, Lengyel and Herrmann were previously married and got divorced in 2017 following a domestic violence case that ended with a restraining order against the musician.
