It looks like Soundgarden are still battling Chris Cornell’s estate over the late singer’s final recordings. Back in April, the band and Cornell’s widow Vicky were said to have reached a settlement following a hostile legal battle. However, according to drummer Matt Cameron, the dispute is still ongoing. He said the following about that during a recent appearance on “The Vinyl Guide” podcast:
“We’re still in the middle of a dispute with the estate. Everything is on hold right now. As of right now, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen next year. Hopefully soon. I’m not giving up hope.”
