X Japan bassist Hiroshi “Heath” Morie has sadly passed away following a battle with cancer. He was 55 years old. According to Yahoo! Japan, Heath was dealing with health issues at the beginning of the year before ultimately being diagnosed with cancer. However, the disease had already progressed too far. He reportedly never got a chance to tell his bandmates about his illness.
