DieHumane (ex-Exodus, etc.) have shared a new video for their cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Something I Can Never Have.“ That track appears on the vinyl edition of the band’s debut album “The Grotesque.” The group commented:
“This was something we recorded specifically for the vinyl release. Trent Reznor is one of the most important and unique composers of our time and it was an honor to be able to pay tribute to his artistry in our own way by covering one of his most gut-wrenching and emotional songs. We’ll be the first to admit that nothing we could have done could match the power of what that man and a piano can pull off, so we went our own way with it, combining elements of smooth jazz, doom metal, and classical to paint a sprawling 10 minute tribute to an artist who’s influence can be heard on every song we have written and will write. We hope you enjoy it.”
