Mugshot have premiered a new single titled “Cold Will.” The song, which features Skin Ticket‘s Josh Mata, serves as the title track of the band’s new EP, which will be released on November 3. The group commented:
“‘Cold Will‘ encapsulates a mindset of depression and the desire to seek any source of feeling – even if it means by acts of self infliction. The song follows the viewpoint of a person who is dealing with immeasurable anxiety and depression: a journey of trying to feel anything, whether physical or mental, to the point of death. The swinging pendulum of this narrative brings the viewer through ebbs and flows of darkening lyricism that ultimately results in the story ending with the unsatiated embrace of depression.”
