With today being October 1, Green Day have decided to use the “Wake Me Up When September Ends” memes as a basis for a new teaser video. The clip finds Billie Joe Armstrong waking up and looking at the calendar, which has the date October 24 circled. It is unclear what the band have planned for that day, but many have assumed it may be related to new music. The group have also launched a new website called theamericandreamiskillingme.com, where fans can “register for a wake-up call” by hitting a “snooze” button.
