As previously reported, Anti-Flag recently called it quits after Justin Geever (aka Justin Sane) was accused of sexual assault. Now, 12 more women have come forward with disturbing allegations against the frontman.

According to Rolling Stone, Geever allegedly participated in predatory behavior with numerous cases of sexual assault, statutory rape, and grooming. Among those was an incident in which he had sex with a 12-year-old when he was 17. Kristina Sarhadi, the woman who initially came forward with allegations against Geever, said the following about her experience:

“I had no idea it happened to anyone else. I felt stupid, embarrassed, and confused, because how could it have happened with this person? He is the anti-rape singer. They are the outspoken feminist band who released an album benefiting women victims of crime. It doesn’t make any sense. [But] even in nature, the worst predators have the best camouflage.”

The report goes on to say that Geever allegedly targeted young fans at the band’s concerts and would engage in non-consensual acts including BDSM. He would also use deceitful tactics like claiming he was much younger than he was.

One woman has since blasted his bandmates for their apparent complacency:

“They knew how young everybody was. There was a clear boundary that he kept crossing over and over that should have raised flags for everybody.”

However, the group responded with the following:

“We trusted everyone associated with the band to maintain a safe and respectful environment. The understanding that abusers can be anywhere further reinforces the importance of survivors speaking out and sharing their stories.… Further, we feel strongly that all predators must atone for their inappropriate actions and be held accountable.”
