Thy Art Is Murder Frontman CJ McMahon Quits Social Media After Facing Backlash Over Anti-Trans Comments

According to MetalSucks, Thy Art Is Murder’s CJ McMahon recently received some backlash after posting anti-trans content on Instagram. However, the frontman has since deleted his account, saying that he is “going off social media for good.”

The post in question reportedly included a video from far-right commentator Matt Walsh, which shows a woman asking a toddler if she’s a boy or a girl. The kid then responds by saying “both,” before the mother agrees, saying: “okay, you’re both.” McMahon shared the clip and said the woman in the video “should be burned to death.”

The post ultimately got removed, prompting one user to say the following: “Shouldn’t have taken your story down we need to call out that movement.” McMahon then responded:

“I didn’t it got reported and I got messages off four stupid people and 100 people backing to protect children from his behaviour. I’m just ducking done with it all so I’m gonna go do my own thing”

He also added that he plans to start an OnlyFans page to share his controversial views:

“I am going off social media for good. I will only post band related things on here and will not be contactable, I will start an only fans with my own content and no it will not be nudes or sexual soon”
