As previously reported, Year Of The Knife were recently involved in a serious van accident that left vocalist Madi Watkins in critical condition and the other members of the band with numerous injuries. Now, guitarist/bassist Brandon Watkins has shared a new update, saying that Madi will be moved from the ICU in the near future.
Brandon issued the following statement prior to Madi’s latest surgery:
“Things are better here everyday. Everyday Madi is more responsive. She’s got surgery tomorrow but they are talking about moving her into long term acute therapy afterwards. Things are looking good and I couldn’t be happier.”
He later added:
“Madis surgery went well. They had to wire her jaw shut cuz it was broken on both sides. But everything’s going as good as it can, she’s still not talking or looking at us/ that kinda shit. But they’re looking to move her outta the icu cuz all her major surgeries are done.”
