As previously reported, Year Of The Knife were recently involved in a serious van accident that left vocalist Madi Watkins in critical condition and the other band members with numerous injuries. Now, it has been revealed that Watkins is currently in stable condition.

Guitarist/bassist Brandon Watkins said the following on the band’s GoFundMe page, which has since raised over $130,000:
“I am so grateful; we are so grateful to have so many special people looking out for us. I have nothing but gratitude for everyone who has donated and shared. Currently, Madi is stable and we are waiting for the doctors to give us more information on what our next steps will be moving forward in the recovery process. Aaron, Andy and I are recovering and are trying to stay positive. Much love”
He also commented via Twitter:
“This is all just so crazy. I can’t believe all the love and support we’re receiving from you all. I have complete strangers going out of their way to come see me and drop me packages. The world can be a great place I feel truly blessed. If you need to talk, message me for my #”
He added:
“All I can do is cry. Thank you all from the very bottom of my heart.”
