Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” Added To National Recording Registry

Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” is among the songs set to be inducted into the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry this year. All of the tracks in the National Recording Registry are considered to be “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” Other songs chosen for inclusion this year include John Lennon’s “Imagine,” Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” The Police’s “Synchronicity,” Jimmy Buffet’s “Margaritaville,” Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You,” and more.
