Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Locust Grove.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

LOCUST GROVE: We are Locust Grove from Oklahoma City, OK. We played our first show in 2016. We are a high energy hard rock band.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

LOCUST GROVE: Metallica, Pantera, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Megadeth, Shinedown, HELLYEAH, Mudvayne, and Alice In Chains.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

LOCUST GROVE: We are releasing our debut album “The Battle of Locust” on June 3rd. If you are into heavy riffs/loud drums and angry vocals Locust Grove is for you.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

LOCUST GROVE: Lots of energy, and headbanging.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

LOCUST GROVE: I see us touring the world playing our music for everyone. I hope to have several more albums out by then as well.
