Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Exosphere

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Exosphere.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

EXOSPHERE: Exosphere is what we like to describe as a psychedelic sludge band that has the best of both worlds. Tight chuggy riffs that make you want to bang your head against the wall, and atmospheres that will make you feel like you are floating through the void while experiencing the worst anxiety of your life.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

EXOSPHERE: Mastodon, Devin Townsend, Elder, Yob, and Death.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

EXOSPHERE: We can confidently say you have never heard anything like us before. If you like vocals that range from soaring melodies to aggressive screams, big chunky riffs, ripping drums, fat bass licks, and a chorus that will send you to the depths of the beyond, you will not regret pressing the play button.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

EXOSPHERE: You can expect to get submerged in some thick walls of distortion and reverb while we try our best not to lose our minds to the chaos we are channeling through the venues PA’s and our instruments.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

EXOSPHERE: Further along than we are now, that’s for sure.
