Annihilator have shared a lyric video for a new version of their song “Couple Suicide.” The updated take on the track features new contributions from Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer) and Stu Block (ex-Iced Earth), as well as its original guests Angela Gossow (ex-Arch Enemy) and Danko Jones. The new version of “Couple Suicide” will appear on the band’s reworked version of “Metal.” As previously reported, that effort is called “Metal II” and it will be available tomorrow (February 18). Jeff Waters commented:
“I’m a big fan of Danko and Angela. Danko and I have written songs over the years. He is a badass rocker meets punk rocker with a bit of pop and metal in there, plus he’s a nice guy. He and I discussed doing a project/record together someday. Angela was the vocal queen of her genre and I loved her in Arch Enemy. It’s such a conflicting, ‘opposite end of the spectrum’ vocal pairing, that it has to be cool! And it is!”
