During a recent interview with the Chicago Reader, Ron Holzner (The Skull, ex-Trouble) opened up about the death of his bandmate Eric Wagner, who recently passed away following a battle with COVID pneumonia. According to him, the frontman refused to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
Holzner said the following about Wagner’s resistance to the vaccine:
“We argued about it, and he stood his ground on the matter. I always joked, ‘The World According To Eric Wagner — you should write a book.’ He lived his life his way.”
On another note, Holzner also revealed that Wagner recorded a solo album before his death:
“Eric just finished a solo record. It will be released in 2022. I played on three songs, as well as members of his bands Blackfinger and Lid and Trouble alumni Sean McAllister, Dave Snyder, and Chuck Robinson—as well as former Pentagram guitarist Victor Griffin.”
