Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Hot Breath

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Hot Breath.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

HOT BREATH: Hot Breath is not afraid to push the boundaries or different genres. When we started the band in late 2018, we all agreed not to be placed in any special compartment. We could play at everything from pop festivals to hard rock clubs. We are honest in our music and are always open to each other’s ideas and thoughts on how Hot Breath should sound.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

HOT BREATH: We have many influences, but we get a lot from rock, pop and punk. Much of the attitude and intensity from punk, melodies and nice arrangements from pop and of course harmonies from rock music.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

HOT BREATH: Our latest release is the single ‘Right Time’ and it is the last single before we release our debut album in April. ‘Right Time’ is about getting stuck between a right and wrong decision, something many people can recognize themselves in. This song should be listened to at the pre-party, the party and the after-party. The feeling fits into all the emotions and thoughts you have during a day, it goes from rock to pop to punk and back.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

HOT BREATH: A live show with Hot Breath is like an after party you never want to go home from. A show that makes you want to dance, sing along and maybe even give a kiss to the person standing next to you.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

HOT BREATH: In five years, we’ll be standing on a cool stage and playing a damn fun gig in Brazil!
