Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With True Villains

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with True Villains.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

TRUE VILLAINS: The band was founded on a mutual passion for rock. Moving to Nashville from all over the country, the band met and began planting a foothold in the local scene. Quickly coming up in the Nashville scene, we were graced with awesome opportunities like opening for Tyler Bryant, Stryper, Tremonti, and eventually touring with Steel Panther. Through word of mouth, the band soon caught the attention of producer Nick Raskulinecz who has produced our latest three singles.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

TRUE VILLAINS: Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Royal Blood, Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Audioslave, Alice In Chains.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

TRUE VILLAINS: As of March 5th, “Dig Your Grave” is our latest release produced by Nick Raskulinecz. If someone is looking for a fresh take in the rock genre, this track is for them.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

TRUE VILLAINS: GUITAR SOLOS! We always strive to leave every ounce of energy we have on stage.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

TRUE VILLAINS: Headlining shows or tours with a few albums under our belt.
